B&G Services is a automotive service center that specializes in medium duty trucks, RV’s, and heavy construction equipment. They have been in business since 1999. The business was built primarily through word of mouth during the 20+ years that it has been in existence. When the founder of the business passed and his son took over, he decided that he wanted to grow the business faster and a new website would be a part of his strategy. The discussion of a new website with Paragraph 2 Media started as an outgrowth of the graphic design work we had previously completed for them. They told us he wanted to get the business online to increase its visibility and make it bring in more business from the markets they served.
After the initial discussion, we had a number of discovery sessions to flush out all the needs and issues. It turned out after we developed the overall concept, we realized very little original content was available for the production of the site. Much of our focus during the weeks that followed was devoted to obtaining the original content, images and copy, needed for the client’s site. This included acquiring original pictures of the various vehicles and supporting and assisting in the development of the copy of each page. They wanted to reflect certain themes while also being in direct contrast to their local competitors online presence.
Since the site launched B&G Services has seen a continuous increase in their business and traffic to their brick and mortar store. We continue to actively work with B&G adjusting and adapting the site to their needs and the market requirements.
